Frequently asked questions
If something is not here, contact us and we will answer it directly.
Basics
What does research use only mean?
Every product here is supplied for laboratory research use by qualified personnel. Nothing we sell is a drug, food, cosmetic, or medical device, and nothing is approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
Who can buy from Sunshine Compounds?
Anyone 21 or older, shipping to a United States address that is not on our restricted list, who agrees to our Research Use Only Policy at account creation and at checkout.
Why do I need an account to see prices?
Pricing sits behind the account gate so that everyone who sees it has already acknowledged the research-use terms. Product pages, specifications, and every certificate stay public.
What form does the material arrive in?
Peptides ship as lyophilized powder in sealed vials, unless the product page states otherwise. Capsule products ship as capsules in a sealed bottle.
Quality & Testing
Who does your testing?
An independent third-party laboratory accredited to ISO 17025. We do not release a lot on in-house results alone.
Can I see a certificate before I buy?
Yes. The full COA library is public and needs no account. Search by product name or lot number.
How do I match a vial to its certificate?
The lot number is printed on the vial label. Enter it on our verify page or search the COA library and the exact certificate for that lot opens.
What is on the panel?
Purity, identity, quantity and bacterial endotoxin, with the full chromatogram printed on the certificate. Sterility, heavy metals and residual solvent screens are published for a lot whenever they are run. The full specification is on The Sunshine Standard page.
Do you publish per-vial results or just a batch average?
Each certificate reports the lot's measured result with its measurement uncertainty, alongside the chromatogram it came from. Publishing the spread across individual vials of a lot is part of our advanced testing program, and those results will be added per lot as studies complete.
Accounts
How do I create an account?
Choose Create account, confirm you are 21 or older, accept the Research Use Only Policy, and set a password. It takes under a minute.
I forgot my password.
Use the reset link on the sign-in page. We email a link that is valid for one hour and can be used once.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Both controls are in your portal under Security and privacy. Export produces a file of your account details and order history; deletion is processed after any open orders close.
How do I change my email or shipping address?
Update either in your portal under Account details. A change to your shipping address applies to new orders, not to orders already placed.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
Within the United States only. A small set of states may be restricted; if yours is, checkout tells you before you pay.
Is cold-chain packaging included?
Yes, on every order. Insulated liner and cold pack are standard, not an upgrade you select.
When does my order go out?
Orders ship on business days. Once the carrier scans the package, transit time is the carrier's; your tracking number posts to your portal and email as soon as the label is created.
My cold pack arrived warm.
Contact support within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and vials. We replace or refund the affected items.
Ordering
What payment methods do you take?
Major cards at checkout. Card details are entered fresh each time; we do not store payment methods on your account.
Can I change or cancel an order?
An order can be canceled for a full refund any time before it ships. Once a tracking number is issued, our Returns Policy defect window is what applies.
Do you take returns?
Not physical returns, because we cannot verify storage conditions once a package leaves us. If an item arrives damaged, seal-broken, or not matching its certificate, we replace or refund it within 72 hours of delivery.
How do I use a discount code?
Enter it in the order summary at checkout. One code per order; a referral discount applies on top of any code discount.
Storage
How should lyophilized vials be stored?
Sealed vials keep best cold and dark. Product pages carry the storage note specific to that compound; follow it rather than a general rule.
How long does material keep?
Storage guidance and the lot date are on each certificate. Our stability program is in progress, and results publish per lot when each study completes.
What about after reconstitution?
Sealed lyophilized vials are the stable form, and the storage note on each product page and certificate refers to that sealed state. We do not provide guidance beyond storage of the sealed product.
Compliance
Why do I have to confirm my age and intent?
Because these are research materials. We record a timestamped acknowledgment at site entry, at account creation, and at checkout, and we keep those records.
Do you provide dosing guidance?
No. We do not provide dosing, protocol, or therapeutic guidance of any kind, and our support team will not do so informally either.
Which states are restricted?
The list is maintained in our system and applied at checkout, so it is always current. If your destination is restricted, checkout stops before payment and tells you.
Can I resell what I buy?
No. Resale, repackaging, and relabeling for human or veterinary use are prohibited under our Research Use Only Policy.
Support
How do I reach support?
Email support@sunshinecompounds.com or use the contact form. We answer during US business hours, usually same day.
Something is wrong with my order.
Message us from the order in your portal so the order details come through with it. That is the fastest path to a resolution.
Can you help me interpret a certificate?
Yes. We will walk through what each line means and how it was measured. We will not advise on use.
Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?
Yes. Contact us with the compounds and quantities you need and we will follow up with terms.
